Placement Tests
Some students may need to take a placement test to help find the right starting place for certain majors or courses. Students who require accommodations for a placement test at UNC Charlotte should plan ahead with both Office of Accessibility and Accommodation and the placement test coordinator.
Students new to Office of Accessibility and Accommodation must provide appropriate disability documentation to our office in advance of the placement test so that accommodations can be determined. Students registered with Office of Accessibility and Accommodation should contact their assigned DS staff member. Office of Accessibility and Accommodation works collaboratively with the student and the coordinator of the placement test to address reasonable testing accommodations.
